Etna Excursion and Wine Tasting

Let yourself be conquered by the Etna excursion accompanied by a tasting of wines and local products.

You will reach 2000 mm up to Crateri Silvestri! You will fully experience the beauty of Etna landscape close to one of the most popular tourist areas nearby. You will know the history of the volcano and of the surroundings, moreover you will walk along a naturalistic path being able to enjoy the genuineness in nature, respecting the sicilian traditions. We will tell you about the ancient and recent flows, that involved the slopes of Etna and Crateri Silvestri: Sicilian walk along a naturalistic trail and visit to the Crateri Silvestri (1892).

After the Etna Excursion the tour will continue in a farm which includes:

Presentation and visit to the honey extraction laboratory, where you will taste products from the hive by the spoon, discovering all the derived products and dry biscuit.

Discover the wines of the territory.

Taste the oil and the aromatic oils, all exclusively obtained by cold pressing.

Typical products of nature such as olives, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes that you can then savour on bread baked on the wood oven.

At last, you will taste the liqueurs of Etna like the “liquid gold of Bronte”.

It is an unmissable opportunity to fully enjoy the genuineness of nature, respecting the Sicilian traditions.

After, you will reach an ancient winery on the slopes of Etna, where the treasures of Sicily await you, included in a menu dedicated to you, consisting of:

5 glasses of white wine, red and rosé, which will be carefully selected by sommeliers to enhance the uniqueness of typical sicilian products;

Appetizers with a selection of cheeses, cold cuts and vegetables. A second course based on meat with a garnish (menu suitable for vegans/vegetarians/gluten intolerant and for children on request).
